Prayer

I was listening to a preacher talk about how you should approach God as your Father and constantly keep in communication. He reminded us that we are Holy and we need to remember we have been given access to the King.

Below are a few of my notes:

Hebrews 4:16
Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

God says that you are righteous and Holy. When we pray lets pray according to the power of the cross and the reality of the resurrection.

Colossians 3:12

MSG: So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline.

NIV Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Approach God knowing you are pure. Sometimes our approach is what keeps us from God. If we are a believer, we are no longer condemned. We are free to approach Him, no matter what we have done. God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
